Finding Internet access in India is feasible, but not for the fainthearted.

Dec 6, 1998 | General Tips: Internet access is just beginning to catch on in major cities. New sites are likely to spring up quickly, so check with the travelers' grapevine. Business centers in upscale hotels often have Internet access, or know of another facility that does. Failing that, you can try to link up with a private access site such as a business or university. Below is a list of several public access sites.
