On Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB), the Slayer and her gang flee from Glory, who now knows the identity of the Key. Former "SCTV" stars Dave Thomas and Joe Flaherty play Canadian border guards who catch the guys on a beer run on That '70s Show (8 p.m., Fox). Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (8 p.m., ABC) continues a weeklong celebrity edition. On Angel (9 p.m., WB), Cordelia has been sucked into the Host's home dimension, and it's up to Angel and Wesley to get her back. Danny's abandonment issues kick in really hard after Diane's transfer on NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC).

Georges Bizet's opera gets the MTV treatment in Hip-Hopera: Carmen (8 p.m., MTV), an original production starring Beyoncé Knowles of Destiny's Child as the torrid title femme fatale and Mekhi Phifer as a cop who gets too close to her flame. Mos Def, Wyclef Jean and Rah Digga costar; Robert Townsend directed. Ben Kingsley narrates Islam: Empire of Faith (8 p.m., PBS, check local listings), a chronicle of the rise of Islam, beginning with the birth of the prophet Mohammed.
