Survivor: The Australian Outback (8 p.m., CBS) returns to Thursdays. Last week's show was a highlight reel and we're getting antsy. We want to see somebody get booted out of the tribe. And we want that somebody to be Jerri. But that's not likely to happen, since the actress/bartender has her tribe mates under some kind of evil spell. Whomever Jerri wants out goes. Unless Keith the chef can win immunity for the third time in a row, he's next. On Friends (8 p.m., NBC), Joey is nominated for an acting award and Monica fears marriage will put a crimp in her and Chandler's sex life. Grace teaches Will and his poker pals a thing or two on Will & Grace (9 p.m., NBC). On CSI (9 p.m., CBS), the crime scene investigators spring into action to probe a fatal building collapse and an apparent carjacking murder. Brooke Shields guests as Nina's innocent sister on Just Shoot Me (9:30 p.m., NBC). On ER (10 p.m., NBC), Carter's elderly patient Mrs. Howard returns -- and she has a gun!

The prescient 1997 political satire Wag the Dog (8 p.m., Fox) has its network TV premiere. Dustin Hoffman plays a movie producer hired by a White House operative (Robert De Niro) to manufacture a phony war to distract the public from a looming presidential sex scandal.
