The West Wing (9 p.m., NBC) reruns the conclusion of the shooting episode, which flashes back to Bartlett on the campaign trail assembling his team. Masterpiece Theatre (9 p.m., PBS, check local listings) continues its "American Collection" series with a new adaptation of Henry James' "The American," starring Matthew Modine as a nouveau riche American in Paris.
