In the one-hour season finale of Friends (8 p.m., NBC), Chandler is just about to pop the question to Monica when her old flame Richard (Tom Selleck) returns. Popular (8 p.m., WB) pulls out all the stops for its season finale -- a wedding, a song-and-dance number and a death. Frasier (9 p.m., NBC) ends its season with a one-hour finale in which Niles finally tells Daphne he loves her, on the eve of her marriage to Donny. But there are complications. Shannen Doherty makes her directorial debut with the season finale of Charmed (9 p.m., WB). And on the season-ending ER (10 p.m., NBC), Carter flips out, and Benton and Kovac are helicoptered into a grade school to treat victims of a mass shooting. Odd how nobody's launching a post-Columbine protest of this episode -- last year's "demon snake eats the high school" episode of "Buffy" had to be postponed for three months.

Jessica Fletcher snoops again in the new TV movie Murder She Wrote: A Story to Die For (8 p.m., CBS). An ex-KGB agent is murdered after writing a tell-all book, and Jessica (Angela Lansbury) and fellow author Richard Crenna are on the case. The documentary Silence Broken: Korean Comfort Women (check local times, PBS) tells the stories of Korean women forced into sexual slavery during World War II. ABC tries to steal some of the "ER" finale's thunder with Behind the Scenes of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" (10 p.m., ABC). Yeah, like we haven't had enough of Regis yet.
