Kovac labors to save the victim of a hit-and-run accident on ER (10 p.m., NBC). 48 Hours (10 p.m., CBS) reports on panic attacks, while 20/20 Downtown (10 p.m., ABC) investigates a string of South African witchcraft-themed murders. Celebrity Deathmatch (10 p.m., MTV) pits Steven Spielberg against Alfred Hitchcock and Sharon Stone against Kathy Bates.
