Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB) reruns the one where the Initiative bags Spike. In case you missed it Sunday, Fox is rerunning the pilot of the new sitcom Malcolm in the Middle (8:30 p.m., Fox), starring Frankie Muniz as a precocious kid with a weird family. Cordelia's new apartment is haunted on a rerun of Angel (9 p.m., WB). Frontline (check local times, PBS) presents "The Case for Innocence," Ofra Bikel's documentary about some states' reluctance to acknowledge the validity of DNA evidence and how innocent people may languish in prison (and on Death Row) as a result. NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC) finally returns to ABC's schedule, after being so rudely evicted for "Once and Again." In the belated season opener, Sipowicz adjusts to life as a single father and joins Sorenson on a case involving two fellow officers suspected in the beating death of a civilian.
