Back in 1980, 10,000 children were diagnosed with autism, but today, one in 150 kids are diagnosed as autistic. "Autism: The Musical" (8 p.m. EDT on HBO) makes the epidemic personal with the story of Elaine Hall, mother of an autistic son who created a theater program for autistic kids. Outlining the bewildering challenges faced by autistic kids and their parents, this heartwarming documentary is full of sweetness and hope, and constitutes mandatory viewing for those who aren't familiar with the ups and downs of raising autistic children. Just be sure to have the hankies handy, because this one is a serious tear-jerker!

Plenty of questions loom as the second season of "Jericho" (10 p.m. EDT on CBS) draws to a close tonight, the biggest of which is: How many pounds of peanuts will fans have to send to CBS to get a third season? The second part of Frontline's two-part report "Bush's War" airs at 9 p.m. on PBS. Artists and educators highlight global climate change in "Art From the Arctic" (9:35 p.m. on Sundance), while Bethenny goes off on Alex on "The Real Housewives of New York City" (10 p.m. on Bravo).
