Oct 5, 2000 | Alix Olson is a member of the 1998 Nuyorican National Championship Poetry Slam Team, as well as the 1999 OutWrite National Poetry Slam Champion. She has been featured at a diverse array of New York City venues ranging from Harlem's Apollo Theatre to the NYC Gay and Lesbian Center. Her work can be found in two forthcoming anthologies; Revolutionary Voices (Alyson Publications) and Will Work for Peace: New Political Poems (Zero Panik Publications).
